Trevor Cridland IOS (CC) (Head of Swim School and Swim Team)
|
The
school was set up in 2001 in an effort to provide swimming
lessons for children with working parents. As my wife
and I are working parents we were extremely frustrated
that no one catered for us, so we set up the school to
help others in a similar position.
Since those early days the school has developed and now
offers swimming lessons for children four times a week
and employs eight teachers and twelve pool assistants.
Our school follows the Amateur Swimming Association (A.S.A.)
National Swimming Plan for teaching swimming which has
been developed so that there is a national plan that can
be followed by swim schools, clubs and local authorities.
The team is a mixture of qualified new young talent and
experienced mature professionals. Our teachers have acquired
a vast amount of experience in many aspects of aquatic
provision especially teaching swimming. Many of our teachers
have a competitive swimming background and most of us
are parents.
Cridders is a vibrant and fun place to learn and you will
find our friendly, professional and progressive school
a good place for your child to acquire an essential life
skill.
