Our learn to swim programme
is based completely on the ASA national plan for teaching
swimming supported by our own Cridders award scheme
that rewards swimmers for their efforts when they do
not achieve the required standard for an ASA award.
We feel that it is important to celebrate and reward
swimmers efforts.
Class sizes are limited as illustrated
on the teacher pupil ratio
page. We have adopted a visual aid of differing coloured
swimming hats denoting class ability, which not only
helps encourage the children to move onto the next level,
but also acts as a safety reference point for us.
